TPP Spring Colloquium featuring Dr. Wilson Kwamogi Okello

We were honored to host Dr. Wilson Kwamogi Okello on April 7th, 2025 to discuss ideas from his latest book On Blackness, Liveliness, and What It Means to Be Human. Dr. Okello is a “transdisciplinary artist and scholar” whose scholarship engages deeply with Black critical theories. We were honored to host Dr. Okello and glean inspiration from his engagement with attendees. He gave a brilliantly artistic opening talk followed by discussant remarks by Dr. Warren and a lively Q&A with the audience. Graduate students were gifted free copies of Dr. Wilson’s book.
